A single optional entry may be written when you choose a brand candidate on the /brand page:
bobby-framework:brand-candidate-preference, the candidate identifier you selected, stored on your device only.
Clearing your browser data removes it. Nothing else is written or read.
No consent banner
Because only essential, on-device storage is used, no consent banner is shown. A fake or pre-accepted banner would be misleading.
If this changes
Adding optional analytics or any third-party storage would require real prior consent, with accept and reject options presented equally, plus a preferences control. This page would be updated at the same time.
